Costumes and props

TITANFALL helmet

Still playing with Pepakura, and I have a ton of pieces that I'd like to build. I'm thinking of building a bunch of different science fiction helmets for display. I started this one just because I thought it looked really cool.

I have just about the whole helmet glued and assembled, and just about ready for resin and fiberglass.

ODST helmet, ready for sanding

Sometime last year, I got really interested in this neat little program called Pepakura, which can be used to make paper models using your printer and standard size cardstock. This led me to some really exciting webpages where people have been utilizing this program for costume making. It sounded like something I would enjoy, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Many months and a few reams of cardstock later, I am hooked. On this page I will be detailing my progress on several Pepakura projects, with an emphasis on HALO costumes for a future Halloween.

I don't have too much time tonight to write a lot, so I'm just going to post some photos for now, and I'll fill in the details in the next few days.
